Pipettes
Our Offer:
Calibration and servicing of all types of pipette
We calibrate pipettes of all models and brands both single-channel and multi-channel pipettes. Calibration is carried out in a controlled environment by accredited technicians, and you can choose between calibration with original tips or your own to match your routines.
Common pipette types we handle:
- Single-channel and multi-channel pipettes
- Adjustable and fixed-volume pipettes
- Electronic pipettes
- Dispensers and repeater pipettes
All calibrations are accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 and carried out in accordance with ISO 8655.
Calibration according to ISO 8655
Calibration is based on volumetric methodology according to ISO 8655. Pipetting is checked gravimetrically where a column of liquid is weighed on a precision balance, taking into account air and liquid temperature.
All our calibrations include:
- Verification before and after any adjustment
- Volume checks at three measurement points
- Documentation of measurement results and uncertainties
- Assessment against allowable tolerances
Leak-tightness, adjustment and repair
With every calibration, we also perform a leakage test to verify that the pipette is mechanically sealed. If we detect deviations, we can adjust, service or repair the pipette. All interventions always end with a new calibration to ensure the instrument is returned to full operational condition.
Measurement uncertainty – Documented and calculated in real time
Measurement uncertainty is influenced both by the performance of the instrument and by external factors such as temperature and handling. We therefore always calculate uncertainty at each measurement point using specialized software, taking into account air temperature, water temperature, and operator influence. The result is documented in the calibration certificate and gives you full transparency.
Certifications and Accreditations
Our laboratories are accredited by the national accreditation body in each country.

We offer qualified services in metrology and calibration to industries and authorities with stringent quality requirements, including aerospace, defense, manufacturing, automotive and engineering industries, as well as medical technology.
What does accredited pipette calibration mean?
Calibration is performed by an accredited laboratory in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 8655. This entails the highest requirements for traceability, methodology and documentation. Read more about our accreditations here.
What happens if the pipette does not meet the requirements?
We adjust the pipette to restore it within tolerance. For larger deviations, repair or replacement may be required – always concluding with a new calibration.
How often should pipettes be calibrated?
Calibration is generally recommended once a year, but some users (e.g., in GMP or research) calibrate every 3–6 months. Contact us and we’ll help you set an appropriate interval for your pipettes.
What is the difference between accredited and non-accredited calibration?
Accredited calibration is performed under external oversight, with requirements for traceability, methodology and competence. It is often a requirement in quality systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 17025. Read about our calibration services here.
