Exova METECH strengthens its offering in the Life Science field by acquiring the calibration facilities from Coor Service Management in Uppsala.

"Uppsala is located in an important region for the life science industries in Sweden, and this is an important strategic acquisition for us," said Hans Åberg, Managing Director of Element Metech . "It complements our service offering in the region and allows for a similar expansion in the Life Science field which we have implemented in the Life Science cluster around Copenhagen and southern Sweden in recent years".

The calibration operations in Uppsala primarily serves customers in the Life Science segment, including pharmaceuticals, medical technology and biotechnology through calibration of medical laboratory equipment such as pipettes, thermometers, climate cabinets, gas- and liquid flow meters.

As a user you will notice an updated interface and increased usability. The added features include file management that allows you to attach documents to the instruments, and dynamic instrument lists that can be customised to your needs.
